![]() ![]() You get the connection im making, right?Ī crowned king could simply refer to Ainz, but that doesn't keep everything on the 8th flood, but ya know what, it's whatever and close enough. I mean, he doesn't exactly rise from the ashes like one, but he dies and strengthens Nazarick (what could possibly be seen as an extension of himself).įor the rose, im going with the obvious Cherry Blossom Sanctuary. ![]() In my eyes Victim perfectly fits the Phoenix. For now, im just gonna placeholder the 8th floor hierarchy in here. Victim is a weird gross floating fetus (which should have blood in it!), but I think he can be attributed to something else. I am not entirely sure where blood could be found. Specifically found on the 8th floor exclusively. After reading this I set out to find where the symbols could be found in Overlord. However, there is a bit more that I would like to discuss.Ī quote from the wiki goes as follows "The symbols used in alchemical writing and art to represent this red stage can include blood, a phoenix, a rose, a crowned king, or a figure wearing red clothes.". ![]() Based on this I can comfortably assume that her design will likely feature the color red. Rubedo is the fourth and final stage in the creation of the Philosophers Stone and represents redness. There is nothing (to my knowledge) that fits this description and is connected to the sisters in Overlord, so ill skip over it. Idk, I don't wanna stare at her wiki page all day.Ĭitrinitas represents yellowness, solar dawn/awakening. Purification could simply be attributed to her virginity since there is nothing else pure about her. The whiteness can also be seen in her clothing. Putrefaction is evident in her rotting skin, and spiritual death could be attributed to her dying baby situation,Īlbedo represents whiteness as well as purification. The blackness can be seen in her clothing, as well as a lot of her known attacks seem to inflict the darkness element on her enemies. Nigredo represents blackness, putrefaction, and spiritual death. These four stages are Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo. These stages are the four required to complete the "Great Work" of alchemists, the Philosophers stone. After some very light research (1 Wikipedia article) I stumbled across the three preceding stages of alchemy before Rubedo. ![]()
