My point being you are of course correct in what you say as far as it goes and is an opinion shared, I suppose my many if not most. except the MBR isn't encrypted so for even more security the MBR would have to be on say a USB thumb drive that one kept on one's person. I also would agree full hard drive encryption would provide even a higher level of security. There is no 100% security I think most would agree.
